Making God’s Compassion Visible-Children’s Ministry Network (CMN)
The Children’s Ministry Network is a collection of ministers serving children and their families who see the need for collaboration, safe space, and continued education by way of sharing with one another.
Instead of each of us re-inventing the wheel in our own church contexts when it comes to Advent, baptisms, children’s worship, or any one of the many things children’s ministers do, we want to pool our gifts and talents and bear the load together.
When you join the network, you gain access to a private Facebook group where children’s ministers can share great ideas, ask questions, crowdsource for resources on a particular topic, and more! We have an online resource library you gain access to for ideas for everything from baby dedications to safety and security policies. There are also Zoom calls led by engaging speakers throughout the year on various topics, like disability theology in children’s ministry and trauma-informed ministry.
We know that ministry can be isolating and demanding, and so our network seeks to be a place where we celebrate the wins and grieve the losses in this work alongside you.
To learn more about the network and how to join, head to https://cbfcmn.org/. An annual membership is $50, but scholarships are available, so please don’t hesitate to ask.
