Highland Hills Baptist Church, Macon

All ages participate in a Rise Against Hunger (formerly Stop Hunger Now) meal packaging session at Highland Hills Baptist Church in Macon.

Highland Hills Baptist Church in Macon delivers sack lunches to Loaves & Fishes on the first Tuesday of each month. Sunday School classes and other groups take turns packing the non-perishables into the lunches on the Sunday prior. Then, a volunteer (or two or three) on that Tuesday morning add a sandwich and deliver the lunches to Loaves & Fishes by 11 am. Highland Hills has also for the past two years sponsored a Sunday afternoon work session for Rise Against Hunger (formerly known as Stop Hunger Now). Other CBF/GA churches in the area were invited to join with Highland Hills in these efforts. Last November 5, over 14,000 meals were packaged for people experiencing hunger.
