Angel Pittman has served in educational ministries for fifteen years at CBF’s partner ministry, Touching Miami with Love. The Pittmans have invested deeply in the Overtown area of Miami, where educational outcomes lag and inequities soar. As an Educational Advocacy Specialist, Angel engages families, congregations, and organizations in speaking out for equitable educational opportunities and assists congregations in developing partnerships with local public schools.
