Peer Learning Groups
CBFGA recognizes the immense value of peer connections for ministers.
To support this, we offer annual grants for Peer Learning Groups across Georgia. These self-guided groups meet monthly to discuss key challenges ministers face, including:
-
Burnout
-
Career development
-
Church growth and transitions
-
Loneliness
-
Preaching renewal
-
Resource sharing
-
Self-care
-
Staff relationships
Groups are regionally based and may include ministers from diverse roles or shared ministry positions.
PEER LEARNING GROUP FUNDING
CBFGA understands the importance and significance of peer learning groups, and we are excited to partner with ministers as they participate in this ministry.
Peer learning groups within the state of Georgia may now apply for grants through CBFGA for up to $500. This funding is offered in addition to grants given through CBF Global. Grants may be requested using our online form found HERE.
Requests may be submitted at any time.
Upon approval, CBFGA will send a check to the requested church for the approved amount. Please note that grants are awarded based on budgetary availability. Please also know that Jimmy Gentry is always available to connect with peer learning groups.
