Georgia FFA-FCCLA Center

The Georgia FFA-FCCLA Center is an exciting and unique camp and conference facility that is available to most organizations. The Center is situated o­n over 500 acres near Covington and is easily accessible from Atlanta, Macon, and Athens.

Accommodations include bunk cabins and private cabins with hotel style rooms. Housing room for up to 800 is available. Meeting rooms are available for groups from 10 to 700. No kitchens are available for personal use; the dining hall serves 3 buffet style meals per day.

Light for the Path is a guide to spiritual formation resources, including retreat centers. While many of the centers listed are for personal retreats, several listed are also available for group retreats. This resource can be purchased from the CBF Store.

Hickory Knob State Resort Park

Hickory Knob State Resort Park covers 1,091 acres alongside Strom Thurmond Lake in South Carolina, just under 50 miles from Augusta, Ga. Hickory Knob offers outstanding recreational opportunities which include an 18-hole championship golf course, trails for hiking, walking and biking; tennis courts, and facilities for archery and skeet shooting.

Hickory Knob has accomodations in 78 motel/lodge rooms, each sleeping up to four people. Eighteen cabins accomodate up to six people each, and o­ne cabin accomodates up to thirteen. Meeting rooms are available that seat 60, 100, or 200 people theater-style.

Strong Rock Retreat Center

The Strong Rock Retreat Center is located in north-east Georgia. This center is located o­n 250 acres of land, and has over-night accomodations for 150 with meeting space for up to 350. This site operates as a children's camp from late May through early August.

Camp Christian Conference Center

Camp Christian Conference Center is a ministry of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Georgia. Housing accommodations include lodges, cabins, and apartment style rooms. Climate controlled conference rooms for up to 150 are available. Five rustic, screened villas with lights and fans are available, each with space for up to 20. A lakeside meeting area with space for 120 is also available. Meal service is available, as are kitchens for smaller groups.

New Ebenezer Family Retreat and Conference Center

Situated o­n the banks of the Savannah River, the New Ebenezer Family Retreat and Conference Center offers ideal natural and historic surroundings. Founded o­n Christian principles, New Ebenezer is an ecumenical retreat center which has been a haven for those seeking personal growth, quiet time, meditation and relaxation since 1977. An abundance of beautiful private places inspires reflection and renewal.

Accomodations include dorm style rooms and cottages. Cottages have kitchens, but meal service is also available.

Calvin Center

The Calvin Center is a year-round camp and conference center, operated as a ministry of the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta, PC (U.S.A.). Located just 25 miles south of Atltanta's Hartsfield Airport, The Calvin Center provides a place for people of all ages to respond to the ministry and person of Jesus Christ and to grow in their relationship with God.

The Calvin Center has lodge, motel, and cabin style accomodations. Meeting rooms for small groups of 15 to large groups of 175 are available.
