Global Missions

CBF/GA endeavors to work in a seamless way with the CBF/National global missions program.  We promote the Offering for Global Missions, and we encourage churches to connect with CBF/National field personnel around the world who minister to specific people groups.

The CBF Offering for Global Missions goes to field personnel salaries, benefits, and ministry expenses. This Offering is the primary way CBF field personnel are funded, making your gifts an essential part of spreading the Gospel and meeting physical needs in the world.

This year’s Offering goal is $5.5 million, and you are a vital part of reaching that goal and keeping field personnel in ministry. There are two major ways to help - by giving to the Offering and by encouraging others in your church to give to the Offering.

Balama Project
"Transforming Lives in Remote Communities"

Balama Project is an international outreach initiative of Wieuca Road Baptist Church and other Cooperative Baptist Fellowship affiliate churches.  This initiative has as its purpose to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of Liberia's most neglected and disadvantaged population in remote communities.

Balama Project is implemented by "AS YOU GO" field personnel (Jessy & Calandra Togba-Doya) of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.  The geographical areas of Liberia currently served by Balama Project include: Balama, Barleborquellie, Gayea, Mengbonta, Fitua, and Willieta.  The project's long-term goal is to extend services to all villages in Bong County and other unreached people groups of Liberia.  Highlights of Balama Project are as follows:

•  Balama Project operates the only elementary school in the Balama region of Bong County that provides Christian environments for boys and girls to learn and grow.
The project provides trauma counseling and life skills for ex-child soldiers and those who bear scars of the just ended Liberian civil war.

•  Balama Project evangelizes the unreached by showing the Jesus Film in the native tongues of the people, and making systematic follow-ups.

You can be a part of what God is doing in Liberia by giving to CBF Global Missions offering and designating your gift for Balama Project.  You can learn how to give below under the Offering for Global Missions section.  Thank you for your prayers and partnership in missions.

The mission of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship is to serve Christians and churches as they seek to discover and fulfill their God-given mission. face2face can help you and your church as you discover your mission.  Our purpose is to connect you with CBF leadership and field personnel throughface2face so that, you have the opportunity to develop relationships that will lead to an understanding of call and mission.

face2face brings together CBF Global Missions field personnel, staff, partners, and volunteers to tell their stories.  Their stories demonstrate the manner in which God is working around the world.  Each story flows from the acknowledgment of an individual call to meet the human needs.  When CBF representatives tell their stories, they are told with you in mind.

Our goal is to create a process that makes it easy to engage people to share their stories through onsite presentations.  Because your ministry is multi-faceted, we have leadership available to connect with you on a variety of topics.

face2face representatives are passionate about the work of the Fellowship.  Once you hear their stories, we believe their passion will be contagious and will encourage your work in the local setting.
