When major disasters strike around the world, we as Cooperative Baptists respond with our time, energy, and resources, and we respond through partner organizations. When gift-in-kind donations are helpful in disaster response, the Fellowship serves as a clearinghousing, matching a donor with a need in the disaster area. Frequently, the Fellowship establishes a designated fund, where individuals and churches can financially contribute to relief for a specific disaster. When volunteers are needed, the Fellowship invites individuals and groups to apply for various service opportunities in the disaster area. CBF/GA is collecting names of people who are interested in disaster response for a mailing list. Click on the link to the left to sign up online. CBF/GA is also looking for information and photos on where our churches are working and what they are doing to help with the storm-affected areas.
You can give directly online through the CBF/GA website by clicking here or by sending a check to the CBF/GA office. Please remember to mark that the donation is for "disaster response." For more information on CBF Disaster Response, click here.
